Please check your PROFILE Page and see whether you have email notification enabled

"Notify on new Private Message"

It is highly recommended that ALL members of national-PCSOs ensure that the setting against "Notify on new Private Message" is YES

this ensures that an email is sent to the member, giving a simple and brief reminder, that a new PM has arrived for them to read. It is respectfully suggested that the only time this setting should be left at "no" is when the user anticipates daily arrival of PMs in his/ her forum account

Please assist the good running of the forum by checking "Yes" against this section in your profile. To see the preferences please just press "profile" in the top menu of the forum

"Pop up window on new private messsage"
Unfortunately a problem has occurred lately with this useful feature. Checking "Yes" against this option may or may not result in a pop up window displaying as you log in when a new private message has arrived.

Efforts have been made to rectify this fault - so far without success. If you have checked "yes" against 'Pop up window on new Private Message' and the pop up window does not display when you are in receipt of a new PM then I do apologise for the system failure in that regard. This is one of the reasons that a recommendation to enable EMAIL NOTIFICATION is being made at this time
