Hi Guys.
I have another question about the survey!
After I click on the link to the 8k text version of the survey I get the page with all the questions on it!!!! No problems so far.
But how do I go about sending my answers in??
I am sure this has been covered many times already, But like I have said before when it comes to computers I am very slow. |

The theory of this is good but the execution is leaving a lot to be desired.
I tried to access the survey on the 8th and found it very confusing.
This great idea could fail because few will want to work to complete the survey.
Please make this easy to find and easy to send. _________________ You can only do the best you can. |

ok Raven I have done a bit more to enhance the "easy to find" part of the survey.
It was already announced on the home page of the site, at the top of the home page - BUT it didn't take up much room, so I have doubled the area that the announcement takes up.
It now takes up the entire computer screen, so hopefully - that will be pretty easy to find. As before, the announcement includes links to this thread and the new 7 page survey.
I added a 7th page, which is purely "HOW TO REPLY"
That 7th page is copied back to the announcement for even greater ease of access.
I do appreciate your comments Raven, I suppose we could have made the execution better - I am thinking maybe an online form that is filled in as you go - but I have to confess, although I "know of" such systems I am baffled as to how to set that up.
Since the survey went live, a text version download of the survey has been added, then a text version to THIS thread so that anybody can simply copy and paste it from the thread to a PM for micky's attention.
So we have
- the 7 page word document
- the notepad text document
- the entire 'text version only' survey pasted into this thread and
- an expanded announcement on the home page of the site, at the top of the home page
- all members were contacted about this, as you know, by means of a mass email on 4.10.04
Any further suggestions to make access easier? Or carry the message better?
Can any PCSO use the noticeboard feature of their computers at WORK to announce this survey for us please? I think that might spread the word!!
And don't forget that Raven himself emailed the majority of Met PCSOs about this a week or so back, are any members of the site able to achieve a similar PLUS for our cause in this way?? |

Falkor/Mickey
I have truncated the survey on the MET email and sent the three parts to ALL MET PCSOs.
I did this this morning and have had about 60 replies so far.
All have completed the first section, though only some have completed the grid, many have just put the answers next to the questions.
Few have understood the working of the second section and have therefore not completed it.
The third section on personal details has been completed by some.
I have these on my home PC as I did not want to clog the MET system.
How would you like this info?
Be aware that the response has been very good, but I am off for the next few days an there could be hundreds by Monday.
Many have come direct to my home PC but many could not handle the cut and paste, so I have received them aqt work and have had to cut and paste them home. |
