let's see - you joined up on 2.8.04
you decided to post NOTHING for over a month
on 6.9.04 you were emailed pointing out forum policy that sleeping members are not allowed
by 1.10.04 you had still not participated AT ALL and now you can't log on?
what a strange mystery
REMINDER OF FORUM POLICY as shown on the main site >> on this page <<
Sleeping members
Any person who registers on the national-pcso forum and then chooses not to participate - will after 7 days be advised that their account is liable to cancellation. If after another 7 days the member continues to choose not to participate in the forums then regrettably the account of that person will be cancelled.
The reason for this is to ensure that "sleeping members" do not register simply to surf our forums. I want PCSOs to be able to post their worries or anxieties in an environment that comprises fellow PCSOs or people who are at least committed to PCSO issues.
this forum opens it's arms to all PCSOs and in fact anybody who wishes to chat on PCSO issues but the overriding factor is CHAT
people who just wish to join up and then sit back for 2 months reading our forums for their own purposes without putting even one post on will regrettably find that sooner or later they can no longer log on
my apologies for that |

I agree mate, people who are in the job are confident (otherwise they would not be in the job!)
People join casue its good at first, then some cant be bothered to watch or input anything. I agree that after a period of time after no posts or whatever they shoudl be given notice (as you do anyway) to either start posting (i think there are enought topics that will provoke some kind of reaction!) or have there account stopped.
So you lot who sit and watch..... join in...... one family..... one voice... express yours!!!

Hiya, NZCHICk,
I know that the first time is the worst, you read what everyone has written and perhaps you are alittel shy, but don't be. If you look back at some of my early attempts you will see that ther is nothing tom worry about. We all make sill spelling mistakes and gramatical errors, from the newest to themost experienced. So dive in and give it a go.
You will love the topics, and be amazed at how others have the same problems as you and learn how they or others deal with those problems.
We all learn from each other so dive in and type something.
See ya in the forums _________________ You can only do the best you can. |
